    Job Description

The business development team drives the country strategy and its objectives by identifying, leading and executing, through analytics, data and market intelligence, on opportunities to drive business growth for Visa and its clients. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Kenya Business Development team by developing and maintaining the relationship between VISA and its clients.
    Key Responsibilities

    Provide admin and Operations support to the local team.
    Contribute to development, production and implementation of initiatives outlined in Country plans
    Competition analysis and monitoring
    Assist the local team with client queries and issues
    Support BPO with periodical reports( Weekly/Monthly or quarterly )
    Assist BDs with Playbook and country plans update
    Co-ordinate with other Visa departments in order to successfully track the country plans.
    Complete ad hoc project/research and presentation work and other relevant initiatives as requested by the management

    This learning objectives of this internship is to:

    Develop a sales management mindset
    Be able to analyze data , trends and make meaningful recommendations
    Be a good project manager
    Most importantly become a payments expert

    Qualifications
    Requirements:

    Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters Degree with a graduation date in summer 2022 or 2023
    Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent
    Be available to pursue a Summer internship (July to August – 8 weeks total)
    Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills 
    Analytical, with experience using Business Intelligence tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    Strong PowerPoint and excel skills are desired
    Superior analytical and financial analysis skills
    Strong collaboration skills with a diverse peer group required
    Able to articulate viewpoint effectively to key stakeholders in order to get buy in and agreement
    Self-confident and hands-on, with the ability to operate in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
    Excellent problem-solving skills

    Responsibilities

     Attend to and carry all other tasks as instructed by your supervisor and the company Director/s.
    Assist and not limited to all office and personal matters for the company director that help ensure smooth running of the business.
     Build and maintain talent pool data base of CVs from various sources that are to be shared with the recruiters.
     Assist on all candidate job portal database automation activities.
    Identify or propose new and better ways of working within one’s job scope.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    Responsibilities:

    FY 2022 Organizational Budget Data Capturing;
    Tally the received FY 2022 budget inputs
    Create budget journal entries with calendarization matching workplan
    Ensure personnel Budget is imported with EID and with Salary/Benefits split
    Update award Ledger in Award Vision
    Update Award with multi-year budget and reconcile to Budget ledger
    Update award reporting milestones in Award vision as per award agreement
    Organize and File award reports and other documentation in AWF e-filing system
    Review sub-grant reports as per the signed sub-agreement
    Update subgrant award milestones in Award vision
    Any other duties as delegated by the supervisor

    Requirements

    At least CPA II or any other professional accounting qualification

    An undergraduate degree in Accounting will be an added advantage

    Familiarization with government regulations.
    At least 6 months experience in a similar position
    Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
    Ability to work as part of a team.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and to prioritize them.
    Demonstrated interest and understanding of key concepts in administrative support services.
    Ability to work with minimal supervision
