    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Duties and responsibilities for this position will be to:-
    Assist in maintaining Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;
    Assist in providing preventive and corrective maintenance;
    Provide technical support to users on software, hardware, and networks at Headquarters and regional Offices;
    Assist in carrying out systems analysis in liaison with users;
    Assist in providing in-house training to staff on usage of ICT hardware equipment and software applications;
    Assist in installing, configuring and deployment of ICT equipment and services;
    Monitor ICT infrastructure including networks, servers and systems for events, Usage and availability.

    JOB SPECIFICATION
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

    A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or equivalent qualification from recognized institution.
    On job training of at least one year is preferable

    CLEARANCE/COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATES
    Successful candidates will be required to provide copies of clearance or compliance certificates from the following institution before appointment to the position.

    What you will bring to KOKO
    Experience in

    Either mechanical design, electronics, or mechatronics.
    CAD tools for 3D design
    Using multimeters and oscilloscopes for debugging PCB faults
    Assembly of mechanical and electronic systems using common tools (wrench, electric driver) and safety procedures (PPE)
    Instrumentation and control system experience (valve, pump & pressure control)

    Other skills:

    Strong analytical skills, working within engineering best practices to get the best results
    Detail driven – Shows clear emphasis on documentation
    Good communicator – verbal and written
    Team player, conscientious, and with a strong collaborative ethos

    Nice to have

    Embedded software (bare metal / RTOS / Linux) development in C/C++
    Understanding of the greater IoT tech stack (MQTT, security, etc..)

    Assist with maintenance and upgrading works.
    Assist the system administrator to ensure proper equipment documentation as well as a physical inventory of assets.

    Assist in IT department-related administrative duties.

    Identify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors.
    Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses.
    Monitor backup systems and procedures to ensure data security.
    Record activities, solutions and other responses to request for service.
    Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment.
    Contribute to DDD’s technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development.
    Consult with vendors, perform research and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems.
