Details:
South Rift Galaxy Safaris provide internships to students who have done their studies and want to know more and get introduced to tourism field through our internship and trainings.
We allow students who have done Tourism Management, Tours And Travel Management, Tourism And Hospitality as their course at school.
The internship is a period of 2 months by their schools and within this period, our staff will be able to train, introduce and equip them with fields of tourism, tourism operations, air flight operations among others.
Job Requirements

Must have degree or diploma in tours and travel
Fresh graduate
Must have knowledge in ticketing, costing and itineraries
Computer literate

Description
Responsibilities

Preparing online applications for the Immigration unit
Developing and implementing output strategies for the Immigration unit
Contributing in field work and following up with local administration
Participating in company’s development by sharing strategic insights
Managing and updating client’s database on the company’s CRM system
Assisting the immigration manager with designing immigration solutions for clients

Profile

Business Administration/Management Studies
IT Studies
Able to work with tight deadlines and ambitious targets
Problem-solver and strong ability to make things happen
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Planning and organizing skills
Proficiency in English and ideally in another language

This position will report to the Immigration Manager. If successful, the intern may be offered a permanent position in the company at the end of the internship.

The goal of this role is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services. You will learn how to manage and providing tourism related services and packages for business and holiday on behalf of our suppliers. In addition, the internship programme will provide relevant knowledge and skills in;
Answering telephone calls & enquiries
Managing reservations;
Marketing
Customer service
Record keeping Accounting & Office Administration.
Qualifications for the Tours & Travel Internship
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, ideally one who is passionate in building a lasting career in Tours and Travel industry.
Qualified applicants must meet the following minimum requirements;
Applicants Must be between 21- 23 Years old
Have a minimum Diploma in Tours and Travel from Utalii (IATA) or any other recognized Institution.
Basic knowledge in using Gelileo and/or Amadeus is desired.
