    Job Responsibilities

    Assist the VTC principal in outlining tools and other requirements for effective teaching and carry out needs assessment.
    Teach according to the timetable ensuring the lessons are planned, ordered and effective.
    Ensure that plumbing service are operating efficiently on day-to-day basis and are, and appropriate repairs are undertaken in a timely manner.
    Prepare and use work schemes and lesson plans in line with the proved examining body curriculum in delivering teaching and instructing students.
    Prepare materials to facilitate creative learning and complete demonstrations as outlined in curriculum.
    Set assignments regularly and mark them promptly, and follow –up with students’ suggestions for further appropriate improvements in learning.
    Observe and evaluate individual student’s performance and behavior.
    Supervise and control use of material and resources.
    Ensure that students understand and follow the college rules and regulations in order to maintain high level of discipline.
    Provide guidance and counseling to students to nurture development including spiritual care and make referrals where considered necessary.
    Carry out any other duties and tasks assigned by the management from time to time.

    Qualifications

    Diploma in Building and Construction Technology
    Have ability to work and relate well with people from diverse backgrounds, and handles people in a firm but highly respectful manner.
    Must be a person of unquestionable integrity.
    Must be a well-organized individual who is able to coordinate tasks well and complies with given instructions.
    Sufficient knowledge of rules and regulations of road transport of the country.
    At least five (2) years’ relevant work experience in a technical college/university

    Key Expectations:

    Preferred qualifications and skills:

    Experience with preparation of priced bills of quality, preparation and management of work schedules, preparation of project implementation plans, quality control and budget control.
    Must have project management experience across a diverse range of projects

    Job Responsibilities

    Manage the power generation equipment, production equipment for concrete, asphalt and aggregates, fixed and mobile lifting equipment, the electrical installations of the projects, the technical base and the housing stock
    Diagnosis of breakdowns
    Advise the Project Manager (s) and gives an opinion on the project facilities and the technical interventions of the equipment according to the production schedule.
    Follow the planning use of the equipment to conduct monthly technical visits on sites and inform the project Manager of any possible stops.
    Organize technical visits of the lifting equipment by the approved service provider according to the standards in force and follow the report executed for corrective actions
    Organize the reception of tower cranes by an approved service provider after assembly and organize periodic visits according to the standards in force.
    Organize audits of electrical installations by an approved service provider according to the standards in force and following the audit report
    Evaluate and guide the staff in their training, adapted to the various positions
    Regularly report to the Material Manager on problems encountered
    Check orders and establish purchase requisitions to be signed by the Materiel Manager.
    Assess use of equipment and determine the cost of the deterioration

    Job Responsibilities

    Delivery of timely and quality Transmission Solutions on Fiber, Microwave, Vsat, IPRAN DWDM, GPON etc.
    Plans within the project schedule and with the correct constraints (capacity thresholds, reliability etc.).
    Compilation of topology maps, schematics, Google route, building entry points & floor plans in GIS formats.
    Optimal Transmission design and implementation plans that saves on CAPEX and NOPEX requirements.

    Schedule periodical audit function of on-ground data against database.
    Follow proper process with Regulators and Government Authorities and ensure accurate records are maintained for Spectrum usage with CA, permits and Way leaves from KehNA, KURA, KRC, County etc.
    Evaluate Reliability and cost effectiveness of trials introduced in the network and their ability to keep up with emerging technologies.

    Requirements

    Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
    IP Certification e.g. CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
    Minimum of 6 years’ experience with 2 years specialized role in a busy telecommunications environment–Involved in Strategy Modeling, Planning, Design and Optimization of reliable transmission systems /networks.
