    Purpose: The Logistics and Repair Manager is responsible for overseeing all the Distribution Centre processes and managing the people responsible, namely Repair Technicians and Logistics Officers.
    Responsibilities:

    Manage all shipments arriving in the country
    Manage all stocks moves and levels within the country
    Ensure the distribution centre is organised and working efficiently
    Provide oversight on technical repairs and refurbishment department
    Manage and coach repairs technicians and logistics officers
    Report to MD and department heads with KPIs
    Ensure weekly reports and documentation are achieved reliably

    Description of tasks:

    Speaking with the China company to organise relevant shipping documents
    Liaising with the China company to ease our import process
    Working with the clearing agents to manage customs clearance
    Handle tax exemption requests
    Ensure efficient clearing process
    Monitor stock movements between warehouse and shops
    Organise inter-company orders
    Ensure shops continuously have the correct stock
    Organise delivery of stock to shops to maintain stock levels
    Maintain strong 5S warehouse management principles
    Encourage 5S principles and other best stock practices throughout the business
    Assist with product support investigations
    Report on all product issues
    Suggesting improvement to the refurbishment and stock management processes

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or related field
    At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain /Warehouse/Logistics role in a busy work environment
    Strong analytical, communication, decision making and interpersonal skills.

    Job Responsibilities

    Collect water samples for testing and verification testing of raw, semi processed and treated water as per the schedules.
    Adjust water operations based on the results
    Inspect plant and related equipment for proper functioning

    Perform installation and maintenance and repairs of the physical plant and pumping installations and all their components

    Qualifications

    Have a working knowledge of the operation, methods and procedures of both conventional water treatment and RO water treatment plant
    Have thorough knowledge mechanical equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunction
    Have a working basic knowledge of machinery preventive maintenance and repair

    Carry out the Electrical preventive maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment.
    To rescue breakdown vehicles in the field and provide defect reports on the root cause and actions taken into the breakdown.

    Take responsibility of approved spares and work in progress for intended purpose.
    Inspect and test vehicles’ AC system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions
    Conduct maintenance check for vehicles air-con, heaters and coolers
    Install vehicles Air-con and heaters whenever required.
    Repair damage and dysfunctional vehicles air-con, heaters and coolers

    General Tasks

    Skilled in understanding schematic diagram and lay out of all electrical aspects of Vehicles/generator installation.
    To update vehicles/generators and other assets repair schedule.
    Records each job time performed on the time sheet and job carried out to each job.

    PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
    Qualifications

    Relevant diploma in Electrical engineering.
    Driving licenses class B,C & E
    Must have wide knowledge and skills in repairing different kinds of vehicles electrical systems that include and not limited to air-cons, cooling, heating systems
    Relevant experience in spare parts management.

    Some of the Key Specific Duties include:

    Installing, servicing and replacing GPS tracking devices on Company Assets (bikes, tuktuks, cars, etc.);
    Maintaining proper information logs and submitting to assigned supervisor all with GPS tracking device installation connected information – vehicle’s chassis number, plate number, make, model, color, trackers IMEI number, SIM card number, installation date and place. Other information may be requested at any time.
    Contacting client and organizing trackers’ service and/or replacement for the vehicles whose trackers are malfunctioning;
    Delivering the highest level professional service to the Company clients while keeping tracker’s installation and service information strictly confidential;
    Reporting all company related expenses (transport, installation related expenses) in accurate manner.

    MAIN DUTIES

    Supervising the facilities team comprising plumbing, masonry, painting, upholstery and carpentry to achieve results in handling maintenance issues in the Hospital.
    Developing, supporting and coaching the team members to reach their targets and potential for better output.
    Regularly monitoring buildings and facilities and advise the Hospital Engineer – Plant on repair or maintenance requirements.
    Do a bill of quantities for civil works identified that require to be carried out by our contractors.
    Reviewing, checking and advising on contractor’s work plans to ensure that they are within reasonable timelines.
    Advising on construction materials and methods so as to meet expected standards and quality.
    Supervising facility works, refurbishment/upgrade activities and repair works and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality and allotted budgets.

    Proven Experience in Engineering projects, contract management and contractor supervision.
    Conversant with local and international building standards
    Computer knowledge in Microsoft programs, including MS Project
    Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD and arch-cad as well as other engineering software will be an added advantage.
