    Responsibilities:

    Regular duties and responsibilities

    Provide technical support for mechanical systems and equipment throughout the hospital as assigned including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
    Document all mechanical activities and test results according to department policy;
    Promptly respond to system/equipment Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) request from user Departments as per policy;
    Timely complete Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for mechanical system/equipment
    Liaison with user Departments for maintenance activities and report to team leader on issues arising. 

    Periodic Duties/Responsibilities

    Participate in requests for special projects, such as new systems/equipment acquisition etc.
    Perform and document mechanical equipment and systems preventive maintenance as per schedule.
    Respond to maintenance requests as per department policy
    Participate in development of mechanical systems/equipment safety and device-specific in-service education to other technicians and equipment users as necessary.
    Participate in incident investigation and system/equipment performance analysis as required.
    Participate in development or review of emergency and safety plans related to use and operation of electrical system/equipment.

    Qualifications and skills required:

    Diploma in mechanical engineering (Plant option) or equivalent qualifications
    2 years  experience in a similar position. 
    Should have thorough knowledge on Steam boilers and steam systems, Waste incinerator, water systems, refrigeration and air conditioning, equipment functioning and maintenance
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to overcome performance barriers.
    Willingness to learn & impart knowledge
    Computer literacy.

    Additional skills required:

    Aptitude in Boiler working and maintenance.
    Plumbing
    Welding and fabrication
    Basic knowledge in Air compressors and vacuum systems
    Basic knowledge in Air conditioning systems

    JOB PURPOSE

    As Motorcycle Assembly Technician, you will be for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of electric motorcycle is maintained. You will be required to have technical expertise, precision, and adherence to safety standards to produce reliable best quality electric motorcycles.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assemble electric motorcycles according to assembly instructions, while observing the standard operating procedures.
    Install and connect various motorcycle components, including motors, batteries, controllers, wiring, and frame parts.
    Ensure all components are securely fitted and function correctly.
    Quality Control, perform thorough inspections during and after assembly to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    Identify and rectify defects or issues in the assembly process.
    Electrical and Mechanical Testing, conduct electrical tests to verify proper installation and functionality of electrical systems.
    Perform mechanical tests to ensure the integrity and performance of assembled motorcycles.
    Troubleshooting and Repairs, Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical and mechanical components.
    Utilize torquing, diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
    Safety and Compliance, adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    Documentation and Reporting, Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, self certification and any deviations from standard procedures.
    Continuous Improvement, participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
    Provide feedback and suggestions for process optimization.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

    Certificate/Diploma in automotive or motorcycle assembly.  Or equivalent technical certification in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.
    OSHA or other safety certifications related to vehicle manufacturing and assembly will be an added advantage.
    Minimum of 1 year of experience in motorcycle assembly, automotive manufacturing, or a related field.
    Proficiency in assembling and testing electric motorcycles or similar vehicles
    Experience with mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
    Familiarity with torque tools, diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
    Attention to detail and a high degree of precision
    Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Excellent communication skills for reporting and documentation.
    Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual dexterity for small component assembly. Capability to lift and handle motorcycle parts and related equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and execute the installation, testing and commissioning of various ELV systems.
    Support the design team in designing and generating the right Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for the projects.
    Ensure the installation, testing and commissioning of the ELV systems is carried out as per the best practice.
    Schedule and manage the technical team at multiple sites.
    Attend site meetings and provide up to date updates to management team on regular basis.
    Attend trainings conducted by the manufacturers of the systems and retrain the internal team.
    Building and maintaining relationships with the new and existing clients
    Presenting the organization’s system in a structured professional way to potential clients.
    Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and design effective solutions that meet and or exceed client expectations.

    Carry out site visits and demos with potential clients.

    Education & Experience

    BSc degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
    Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of various ELV systems which include but not limited to Fire Alarm, BMS, Access Control, CCTV, Turnstiles, ANPR
    Good experience in systems integration and experience in any configuration and programming software for ELV systems (/ACS/CCTV/ BMS/ FAS systems).
    Have knowledge on Electrical Components related to ELV Systems, be able to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and diagrams.
    Should have knowledge and understanding of ELV related codes and their application to the project.
    The candidate must have minimum 3 years’ experience of working as a senior ELV commissioning engineer.

    Overall purpose of the position

    The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and are well-maintained to prevent breakdowns or operational failures.     Key Tasks
    Maintenance Operations

    Educational background / Work experience

    Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
    5+ years of experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
    Knowledge of vehicle management.

    Language Skills

    Experience communicating in diverse cultural or work environments preferred.
    Fluent in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
    Must be comfortable explaining complex technical & procedural requirements in straightforward language.

    Learns to use the hand tools needed to perform the job

    Education and other qualifications

    Degree or certification from a technical school preferred.
    Must be able to operate different types of lathe machines.
    Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.
    Standing with walking is required for most of the shift
    Ability to communicate issues verbally and in written form
    Some knowledge of inspection gauges and equipment.
