    You will develop backend solutions that understand and process language and that offer a rich user experience over text.
    You will develop and apply advanced mathematical and technological reasoning skills that can be applied practically towards solving some of these challenges.
    You will develop and apply advanced principles of software architecture and SOLID development.
    You will develop and apply an understanding and applicative use of a wide range of different technologies and software development techniques and practices that are cutting-edge but not widespread in the current Kenyan market.
    You will work collaboratively within a team of peers and technical consultants in modern organizational structures to quickly iterate on and output solutions for our customers.

    A typical day for you might include the following

    In this Internship role you will have the opportunity to working under the supervision of experienced engineers and develop hands-on experience in the following areas:

    Develop BFD, PFDs, and Mass balances
    Perform hydraulic calculations to determine line sizes, pump specifications, and control valve sizing
    Perform heat transfer calculations to determine heat exchanger duty requirements and sizing
    Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) for different processing units, including details such as line sizes, control valves, isolation valves and control logic
    Participate in and leading P&ID review session
    Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies
    Create close-out reports for P&ID review sessions and HAZOP sessions
    Contribute to reviews of vendor documentation and other discipline documents
    Develop linelists and setting hydrotest boundary limits

    Skills and qualifications you’ll need  

    An Engineering degree in either Process/Chemical/Civil or Mechanical.

    We currently seek a Production Planning Intern who will support the planning team in daily, weekly and monthly forecasting of our product lines.
    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Gain proficiency in SL production planning for KuzaPro and Evergrow
    Reduce weekly plan versus actual variances to a maximum of 5%
    Recommend at least 2 new production planning tools by Q2 2020. Commence implementation of one of the recommended systems
    Expand the weekly/monthly/yearly production forecasts to include briquettes production and utilization
    Expand the weekly/monthly/yearly production forecasts to include EG production
    Maintain a CAPA resolution rate >90% for immediate corrective actions
