    About the Role
    As Donor Visit and Support Associate, you will oversee and manage every aspect of donor visits across multiple countries, working to cultivate robust relationships with donors and ensuring their visits are meaningful and in line with our organization’s objectives. Additionally, you’ll offer cross-team support and oversee key team tools to optimize effectiveness and coordination within the Business Development team.
    Responsibilities

    End-to-end management of donor visits in all our countries of operation (primarily in Kenya and Rwanda, but could include Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Burundi, and Zambia), including: 

    Pre-visit planning: Collaborate with team members to craft detailed donor visit itineraries, map out relevant activities, assist in the creation of preparation materials, and coordinate alignment calls. Liaise with field teams and country leadership teams to schedule 1:1 meetings, manage schedule conflicts and be on hand to trouble-shoot.
    Logistics: Coordinate logistics with in-country teams, including arrangements for accommodation, meals, transport etc.
    On-the-ground support: Provide on the ground support ahead of visits via “practice runs” and during visits via logistics support.
    Direct hosting: Act as “lead host” for certain donor visits (Note: contingent upon building program fluency).
    Follow up: Manage any follow up requests for information and channel them to the relevant team members.
    Process and system optimization: Identify areas for process enhancement and create new, improved tools to streamline planning, coordination and follow-up. Additionally, oversee training for all team members on these tools/systems to ensure compliance and proficiency.
    Note on travel requirements: Donor visits ebb and flow, but taking into account all of the above responsibilities, we would estimate 20-25% travel time in this role.

    Cross-team support:

    Contribute to functioning of Business Development team by facilitating team coordination. For example, manage logistics for annual retreats, oversee new staff onboarding, and support various other team initiatives.

    Management of team-wide tools

    Oversee multiple team tools and contribute to knowledge management system to improve team effectiveness and coordination

    Qualifications
    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    Minimum of 4 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, logistics coordination, event planning, or a related field
    Demonstrated proficiency in project management
    Experience in process improvement and analysis, with the ability to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency
    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management)
    Experience in the field of agriculture/rural development is a plus

    Job Description
    Main Accountabilities and approximate time split
    Card Product Development

    Drive products innovation and invention.
    Manage product, pricing, and channel strategy for usage-building products.
    Develop and enhance product VAS to ensure the bank offers a robust product solution.
    Develop and deploy customer life cycle management framework.
    Track and take actions to improve card portfolio performance KPIs – spend, balance, activity, attrition etc.
    Formulate and implement key initiatives to ensure that the value drivers track as per plan ensuring strong revenue performance.
    Work with marketing team to run spend and utilization campaigns for the card product.
    Drive segmental spend campaigns for various customer segments across the portfolio including dormancy management.
    Develop and implement Portfolio intervention frameworks including Early Engagement and Continuous Customer Engagement strategies throughout the customer life cycle through data-led and data analysis to harness opportunities for growth.
    Management card stocks to ensure no stock outs.

    Bank Network Product Support

    Engage with branches and other stakeholders to drive card product uptake
    Drive product training across the entire branch network
    Engage all key stakeholder to drive product performance – RM, DST teams, Virtual RMs, branch managers, area managers etc
    Be at the center of ensuring all product related queries and complains are handled conclusively and on a timely manner.
    Working with all support functions to ensure the product is adequately supported thus enhancing customer experience, driving usage and optimizing revenues.

    Product Sales Support

    Develop and roll out card sales programs.
    Work with all stakeholders – branch network, RMs, DSTs to drive card sales
    Constant review of existing processes to enable seamless cards sales operations process flow.
    Develop training material to facilitate card knowledge capacity building across the entire bank network.
    Regular branch visits to support the branches and other sales channels in driving the product.
    Drive and implement initiatives to reduce the TAT for complaints.
    Support the Head of Card Issuing to ensure that monitoring tools developed are applied and effectiveness of training and other ‘people development’ activities are properly monitored.
    Monitoring of card authorization levels and fraud risk management

    Risk, Legal and Compliance

    Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Absa Bank Policies and Policy Standards. Understand and manage risks and risk events (incidents) relevant to the role.
    Ensure all products are compliant with the banks and regulators, schemes, processors/payment gateways compliance requirements.
    Maintain an RCSA for all the products.
    Do regular reviews of product compliance status.
    Documentation, review, resolution and escalation (where necessary) of any compliance exception items.
    Ensure all mandatory training is completed to the deadline and understood within given timescales.

    Job Summary
    The role is housed with the Hem-Onc Clinic at AKUHN and will involve the coordination of the patient’s journey from presentation to discharge from the clinic and any follow up thereafter.  The clinic has many stations (registration, billing, triage, DART, MD visit, chemo-unit, discharge desk etc).  Each station has its own responsible individual and it is like a “busy round about”. The role of the Navigator is to coordinate an efficient flow of patients through the various touch points in the clinic and being the “traffic cop at the round about”. The role requires assisting, facilitating, helping, cross covering – all the ensure the efficient flow of patient through the clinic visit and ensuring a positive patient experience.  The Navigator may also be involved in assisting patients in coordinating their post clinic visit care as needed. Overall, the Navigator is the faciliator in the Hem-Onc clinic who will help eliminate barriers to timely care, facilitate flow through system, facilitate interactions with relevant hospital services, increase patient and provider satisfaction and support the inter-professional cancer care team.
    Responsibilities

    Assess patients upon initial encounter and periodically throughout navigation, matching unmet needs with appropriate services, referrals and support services e.g. providers, dietetics, social work, finance teams etc.
    Facilitate timely scheduling of appointments, diagnostic testing, and procedures to expedite the plan of care and promote continuity of care.
    Participate in coordination of the plan of care with the multidisciplinary team, promoting timely follow-up on treatment and supportive care recommendations.
    Act as a liaison and builds trusting relationships with patients, families, and caregivers through effective communica­tion and listening skills.

    Requirements

    RN from a recognized school of nursing or University.
    Current licensure with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
    Post Graduate Diploma in Oncology will be an added advantage.
    Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
    Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital, two of which must have been in oncology/chemotherapy unit.
    Demonstrated evidence-based knowledge of current practices in Oncology nursing.
    Experience in out-patient clinic operations.
