    Essential Job Responsibilities

    Receive and process all cash advances on time and arrange for bank runs in coordination with the Finance Officer to ensure cash is availed to staff and sub recipients on a timely basis.
    Receive and examine payment requests supporting documents
    Assist with recording invoices into the accounting system
    Follow up on positing of captured invoices for timely payment processing
    Processing all payment requests submitted from suppliers and staff
    Maintain an unpaid invoices file
    Ensure that all recurrent invoices and utility bills are paid on time
    Recording and updating financial books of accounts with payments
    Record grant liquidations after review by Finance Officer
    Assist in preparation of journals/ Filing all financial documents
    Reviewing of supplier reconciliation/accounts payable and ensure accounts payable are up to date
    Assist in the production of monthly financial reports
    Other duties as requested by the supervisor
    Purchase of office supplies.

    Knowledge and Experience

    Relevant Degree in Finance or Accounting
    Atleast CPA Part 2
    Atleast 1 year of experience
    Strong organizational skills.
    Excellent oral and written English skills.
    High computer skills on MS Office programs, especially in MS Excel.

    Key Tasks

    Monitor temperature measuring equipment (thermometer) and ensure that the readings are within the allowable range as per monitoring procedure and ensure proper records are maintained.
    Train workers involved in cold room storage operation on all the requirements of the Olivado Fresh Internal Management System and food safety and Quality requirements.
    Ensure cartons are stacked neatly, labels are attached, and strapping carried out as per the requirement.
    Ensure quantity packed is as per the instruction of the Packhouse Management.
    Other duties allocated by the Packhouse Manager or the food safety team.

    Job Purpose / Objective: Working under the guidance and supervision of the Nutrition Manager, the Nutrition Officer will be directly responsible for implementation of the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) program, nutrition surveillance, hospital feeding, nutrition education & counseling and promotion of maternal infant and young child nutrition in the camp.
    Key Responsibilities

    Implement and supervise the inpatient and outpatient therapeutic feeding of severely malnourished under-fives while following the stipulated protocol.
    Implement and supervise the supplementary feeding of the moderately malnourished under-fives, pregnant/lactating mothers, individuals with medical conditions (HIV/AIDS and TB).
    Ensure the Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program (BSFP) activities are implemented successfully.
    Implement comprehensive maternal infant and young child nutrition program (MIYCN) with strong Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) and Baby Friendly Community initiative (BFCI) approaches.
    Supervise and monitor the hospital inpatients diet including the special diets for medical cases like diabetes, TB, HIV/AIDS, Hypertensive among others.
    Train and mentor the nutrition program staff and the integrated community health promoters through identification of capacity gaps and carrying out refresher trainings and on the job trainings.
    Plan and conduct trainings on Growth Monitoring Promotion (GMP), IMAM and MIYCN to other mainstream health professionals.
    Develop key messages in nutrition to the targeted beneficiaries, and ensure it is delivered appropriately.
    Offer nutrition support through counseling to individuals with medical conditions including Comprehensive Care Clinic clients.
    Plan and conduct the annual health and nutrition surveys together with other stakeholders in the camp.
    Plan and conduct mass MUAC screening of the under fives on a quarterly basis in collaboration with the Community Health Promoters.
    Work closely with other nutrition related programs such as HIV/AIDS, Environmental Health, Clinical Services and Community Health Program in order to improve the nutrition situation in the camp.
    Compile and submit donor and IRC Nutrition Program weekly, biweekly and monthly reports of all the activities implemented, as well prepare food requisitions.
    Coordinate Nutrition meetings with IRC and participate in Project monitoring, Review and Evaluation.
    Represent IRC in Nutrition Coordination meetings with Implementing partners and other Nutrition /Health related forums.
    Lease with Supply Chain Department in logistical Program Supplies procurement and Monitoring Supply control
    Stock monitoring of various commodities
    Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor degree in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized University.
    Must be a registered nutrition or dietitian KNDI

    Required Experience & Competencies:

    Minimum 1 years work experience in community nutrition and implementation.
    Experience in maternal infant and young nutrition with strong BFHI & BFCI approaches.
    Experience in nutrition survey and assessments.
    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    Strong report writing and team working skills.
    Knowledge in computer packages and basic analysis skills.
    Experience in Nutrition and HIV/AIDS programming added advantage.
    Ability to work in hardship areas (previous experience in a camp setting will be an added advantage).

    Liaises With: Other social workers, Accounts, welfare, commercial and other heads of departments and stakeholders in social work support related issues.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the Home division in charge in the efficient co-ordination of the social work activities/tasks.
    Ensure that the Home programme is up to standard in all its activities, and adheres to the home’s policy.
    Assist the outreach division in charge in carrying out the following;-
    Interview, assess and evaluate all home admission applications. Once satisfied, visit their homes, make comprehensive reports and make relevant recommendations.
    Make regular visits to all homes and schools taking notes of the progress while highlighting concerns brought up in liaison with the respective school teachers and guardians.
    Liaising with all section heads on all social work matters affecting their departments.
    Represent the home in committees and meetings as assigned by the Chief Administrator.
    Networking with other homes/organizations in matters of Home
    Support and recommend for referrals when appropriate.
    Be a source of counsel to the children’s academic and career choices.
    In deserving cases in 1.0 above, plan for implementation and ensure that all is done in the best interest of the child.
    Finding appropriate schools, vocational training and colleges for children under the home programme in liaison with the guardians and teachers.
    Maintain and keep accurate records for all children under the home programme.
    Prepare cases and attend the children’s court in respect to each child’s committal.
    Organize and supervise extracurricular activities of all children at the Home with a view to form a well-balanced individual.
    Being the flag bearer of an efficient, effective, thorough and friendly home programme.

    Other Duties

    Motivate any intern under you for better teams and consequent improved efficiency and working environment.
    Ensure that the key performance indicators and benchmarks of the outreach division area of control are accurately monitored, documented and reports produced.
    Participate in fundraising activities as periodically organised in the home.
    Carry out any other duties as detailed by Administration.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Preference will be given to candidates who have at least one year experience is social work/Community development
    Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills with proficiency in English;
    Must be a team player with the ability to work with others to achieve high goals in a fast paced and high pressured environment;
    Must be a self-starter with ambition who can work independently and handle multiple priorities and deadlines;
    Must possess good negotiation skills, presentation, leadership and an innovative mind.
