Key Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and execute complex engineering technical specifications.
Perform advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
Cut, shape, and fit metal components using precision tools and equipment.
Inspect and test welded joints for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve welding and fitting issues to maintain structural integrity.
Lead and mentor junior welders and fitters, providing technical guidance and support.
Ensure adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations (OSHA, AWS, ASME).
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain and calibrate welding equipment and tools for optimal performance.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Welder/Fitter in a construction or engineering environment.
Expertise in welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW) and metal fabrication.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex Engineering designs.
Strong knowledge of metallurgy, welding codes, and industry standards.
Ability to work independently and lead a team in high-pressure environments.
Welding certification (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Additional Information
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
Proven experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
Experience in setting up an inventory function
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP).
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and material handling.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and reporting tools.
