Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods, including the management of inventory and stock levels. The role also involves the use of inventory systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and contributing to the smooth running of the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection:

Receive incoming goods and materials, inspect for damages or discrepancies, and report to supervisors.
Verify the accuracy of shipment contents, ensuring that they match purchase orders and packing slips.

Inventory Management:

Organize and maintain stock in designated storage areas.
Conduct regular stock counts, ensure accurate inventory records, and participate in periodic physical inventory audits.
Update inventory systems with new stock and ensure timely replenishment.

Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of outgoing shipments.

Safety and Compliance:

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly (if certified).

Reporting and Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and stock movements.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, shipments, and inventory issues.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
Communicate with suppliers and carriers regarding shipment schedules and any discrepancies.
