Job Description:
We’re looking for a full-time videographer for a six-month contract to produce professional quality short videos for One Acre Fund trainings, marketing, fundraising, and brand. We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of demonstrated professional video experience to help execute on numerous video projects over a 6-month window.Over the six-month window, the videographer will be embed with our Communications team, working from our Nairobi office with travel to rural Kenya and around East Africa for shoots. The videos will often be short 2-3 minute pieces meant to share staff stories, teach staff skills trainings, and market our brand.
Responsibilities:
Drafting shot lists
Building storyboards
Shooting with DSRLs
Directing video shoots
Subtitling videos in 7 or more different languages
Recutting existing videos
Project management
Communication admin, and editing sequences in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Qualifications:
We are seeking an exceptional professional with 3+ year(s) of work experience and a demonstrated passion for our mission to embed into our Communications team in our Nairobi office. Candidates who fit the following criteria are strongly encouraged to apply:
Proficient shooting video on Nikon DSLRs
Proficient at editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
Can work from creative briefs to develop engaging storyboards
Strong ability to make subjects feel comfortable on camera, working with translators as needed
Comfortable with regular travel and shooting in rural settings
Openness to feedback and enthusiasm for learning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management and organization skills
Ability to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
Language: English and Swahili required. Other languages common in East Africa is an added benefit.
