Vice President of Supply Chain AL/MS Dynamics Senior Engineer Customer Care Agent

Job purpose:
Reporting to the COO, the VP of Supply Chain will drive operational excellence in Kasha’s supply chain. Develop and implement strategies to optimize our supply chain and vendor management operations. Lead cross-functional and cross-country teams, ensure the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers, and drive continuous improvement in warehousing, 3PL partners, and inventory management processes. Analyze the performance data to forecast trends in supply and demand while proposing and implementing improvements where necessary.
 N.B: An assignment may form part of the selection process.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end procurement process (including Import), which includes identifying and selecting suppliers, skillfully negotiating contracts, nurturing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while optimizing supplier terms.
Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of existing supply chain processes to pinpoint areas in need of enhancement. Proactively propose and execute supply chain improvements, with a focus on process documentation for sustainability.
Take charge of planning, organizing, and overseeing product transportation and distribution, encompassing both inbound and outbound logistics, to guarantee the efficient flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
Establish KPIs and metrics to measure and report on supply chain performance, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve operations.
Ensuring accurate and comprehensive records on supply chain activities and providing timely reports and updates periodically and on request.
Lead the negotiation, redlining, legal, and business stakeholder communications process with suppliers on highly complex, challenged, or stalled projects.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain, and drive initiatives to reduce overall operating expenses.
Identify, monitor, and proficiently manage risks associated with compliance and audit standards, ensuring that all relevant regulations are met as applicable.
Investigate and resolve any issues related to incorrect or damaged orders. Maintain robust inventory management practices to mitigate such issues effectively.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain, and drive initiatives to reduce overall operating expenses.
Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with Kasha’s overall business goals. Continuously evaluate and adjust the strategy to respond to changing market dynamics.

Role Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Have a proven understanding and experience in procurement and supply chain and last-mile delivery of consumer and pharma products.
Over nine (9) years of experience in a supply chain role, including 5+ years of progressively responsible management experience.
Subject matter expert in all facets of Supply Chain Analysis. Experience in vendor relationship management and stakeholder governance is highly preferred.
Proficient IT skills with 2 years min. experience in using WMS, OMS, and LMS systems.
Exceptional analytical and strong time-management skills.
