Unit Trust Operations Officer

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for accurately processing high volume and high value transactions from clients or relationship/client management/distribution teams.
Handle unit trust operations i.e. processing unit purchases, repurchases, transfers and switches
Provide support and preparation of daily, monthly and periodic care reports for management.
Ensure that daily processing and control procedures are competed, documented and properly recorded.
Work proactively with partners confirm instruction orders/resolve issues and discrepancies.
Daily reconciliations for units and cash
Support review of interest, agents’ commissions computations and preparing relevant reports.
Preparation of WHT schedules.
Maintain accurate records of partnership activity, including leads, contact information, and other pertinent details.
Work with unit trust operations and distribution teams to develop operations that promote the partnership’s offerings.
Manage all aspects of testing, including identifying potential changes, developing workplans and flows for partnership offerings.
Manage internal documents to record and track project flow.
Coordinating meetings such as service level meetings, update meetings to ensure positive support and relations with our partners.

Technical/ Functional competencies:

Ability to work cross-functionally and to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet set goals.
Must have a Unit Trust operations and process background.
Ability to evaluate the economic and strategic cost-benefit of partnerships.
Competency with mobile technologies and systems
Demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, cultivates networks and ability to work in fast passed environments.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in any business or IT related field from a recognized university
Professional certification in Project Management and or IT will be an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ relevant experience
