Uber Eats Operations Coordinator (GR, Direct, UEE) Customer Growth Coordinator

About the role. 
Our client is looking for a passionate, committed, and flexible Operations Coordinator to drive the success of their business in Kenya. The Operations Coordinator will work with a stellar operations team on the daily functions that are at the core of Uber Eats, develop practical solutions, and deliver changes for immediate business impact, while also supporting analytical needs across the business. The right candidate will be creative, analytical, excellent in planning, operational management, and execution, skilled in project management, passionate about every detail of retail, and ready to roll up their sleeves.
As an Ops Coordinator for Uber GR (Grocery & Retail), Uber Direct and Uber Eats Everywhere (UEE) in Kenya you’ll support Lead in driving our last-mile delivery strategy in Kenya
Uber GR (Grocery & Retail) is a fast-growing business within Uber Eats that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered through the Uber Eats app (non-food). 
What you’ll do.
Data analysis.

Create tools for analysis: You will scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently utilize data for decision making.
With the help of Uber’s rich dataset, you will need to monitor market performance, understand our customer challenges, and always look for ways to improve the operations and find risks that may have a meaningful impact on the business.
Build, document and scale world-class decision-making reports that will help optimize the marketplace

Stakeholder and Project Management.

Drive optimisation and marketplace efficiency by helping execute on strategic operations.
You’ll be working closely with the Account Executive, Operation and Commercial (local, regional, and global) teams to improve both Merchants and Courier (delivery person) experience.
Supervise K PIs (identifying gaps/ opportunities), develop practical solutions and deliver changes for immediate business impact.

Operational Support.

In the role you will assist with live support aspects of the partner journey, as well as working alongside the Ops teams to improve operations in order for the business to grow.
Be the operational glue that holds together major team efforts for strategic partnerships.
Constantly s eeking solutions for our new business lines (Uber Direct, Uber GR and Uber Eats Everywhere). Your processes and projects will directly contribute to the business growth

Basic Qualifications.

Bachelor’s Degree in a commercial/ technical field.
Experiences in Startup, Consulting, Operations, Logistics, or other relevant fields.
Entrepreneurial mindset and pro-activity, ability to own end-to-end projects from strategic thinking to getting things done.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving working environment.
(Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a constantly evolving environment with tight deadlines)
Robust analytical & critical thinking skills, experience with data-driven decision-making.
Passion for problem solving. You are curious to understand the why behind pain points and work to ensure the issue is solved. Proven experience in proactively identifying urgent issues and quickly acting on them.
Full business proficiency in English.
