Key qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Travel and Tourism from a reputable university
IATA Diploma in Travel and Tourism
Excellent Knowledge of Galileo booking system
Minimum of 2 years experience in a travel agency
Job Duties /responsibilities
Able to organize travel from beginning to end through booking air tickets.
Assist in 24/7 support
Issue and Reissue air tickets using the Galileo reservation system
Handling all inquiries related to domestic and international air ticketing
Carrying out all follow-up procedures pertaining to customer level i.e reconfirming, re-issuing &refunding of air tickets.
Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise during the trips
Up–to–date on airline rules & regulations and current affairs within the industry
Maintain professional image as per organization image quality standards.
Advising client on travel arrangements E.g Passport travel information per country
Keeping clients up to date with any changes (flights delays, Cancellations) etc
Secure new client sales and retention through customer service provided
