Travel Consultant

Job Summary
Reporting to the Tours and Travel Coordinator, the position holder will be responsible for coordinating the entire travel experience including planning itineraries, tours, and visa advisory.
Key Responsibilities

Air Ticketing
Travel Advisory
Visa Advisory
Local and International Hotel Booking.
Safari Planning.

Minimum job requirements
For appointment to this position, one must possess;

Diploma in Tourism Management, Tours, and Travel or Equivalent.
IATA or GDS training Certificate.
Expertise with the Galileo/Amadeus GDS platform and web fares.
MUST have at least 3- 4 years’ experience as a Ticketing / Travel Consultant in a busy travel agency or airline.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suites.

Must have excellent customer service skills
Must have good Conflict and complaint resolution skills.
Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and get things done on schedule.
Should be Self-motivated, Confident, and have an outgoing personality.
A Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent networking and prospecting skills.
