Training Facilitator

Job description
The Training Facilitator is responsible for coordinating enrollment in each course, leading the courses (approx. 15 people per course), and evaluating each student’s performance and understanding of the material in each course. The Training Facilitator will use the existing curriculum as well as be responsible for adapting and creating new curriculum based on assessments of how effective students are applying their new knowledge in a practicum.
ACTi is a start-up with an internationally minded and experienced team. We look for individuals who are eager to work hard and be proactive in growing the business.
You will be the first Facilitator working directly with the Founder to take the learning from the pilot program and implement full operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who has been gaining hands-on training and coaching experience and is now ready to take on more leadership responsibilities and grow into a manager position. No prior experience or knowledge is required in early childhood development as all the content will be taught to you.
The Training Facilitator’s main responsibilities include:
Leading short courses using ACTi’s curriculum on early childhood development, child care and safety, and specific child-related topics
Developing facilitator manuals on how to use the course materials and deliver trainings
Conducting needs analysis for additional skill requirements for childcare center professionals
Creating curriculum materials for additional short-course opportunities identified
Developing training aids and assessment tools through videos, classroom activities, and testing materials
Maintaining updated awareness of new research and developments in the sector
Conducting analysis on effectiveness of courses and preparing reports with actionable recommendations on how to improve student performance and outcomes
