Objectives of the Assignment
The consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering a training program that enhances participants’ ability to develop and implement strategic plans effectively. The objectives of the training include:
Enhancing the participants’ understanding of the fundamentals of strategic planning and its importance in achieving organizational success.
Developing strategic thinking and decision-making skills to enhance leadership effectiveness.
Developing competency in tools such as SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis, and the Balanced Scorecard
Learning strategy formulation and execution techniques to align goals with organizational vision.
Gaining insights into risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
Establishing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track progress and improve strategic initiatives.
Enhancing adaptability and change management skills for effective strategy implementation.
Scope of Work
The consultant will be expected to:
Develop and customize training materials tailored to the audience’s needs.
Deliver a structured, interactive training program incorporating case studies and real-world applications.
Facilitate engaging sessions using innovative adult learning techniques.
Provide post-training support through coaching, mentoring, and additional resources.
Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and assessment.
Deliverables
The consultant will be expected to provide the following:
A detailed training manual covering all aspects of strategic planning.
Presentation slides and supplementary learning materials.
Post-training report, including participant feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Strategic Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business consulting, and capacity building.
Demonstrated experience in training delivery and curriculum development.
Strong knowledge of strategic planning frameworks such as SWOT, PESTLE, Balanced Scorecard, and OKRs.
Excellent facilitation and adult learning methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Fluency in English (as training will be conducted in English)
