JOB SUMMARY 
Our client a leading tours and Travel Company is looking to hire a Travel and Tours Manager who has good experience in a Travel and Tours company; to be in charge of all the travel and tours function and operations.                                                                                                                                
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing the company aggressively
Closely monitor the travel bookings and handle any customer issues in a timely manner
Managing budgets, meeting sales targets and maximising profits
Negotiating for travel packages on behalf of the company
Coordinate  travel operations across the various offices
Advise the management on any competitor trends or new ideas to improve the business
Selling package holidays and individual travel elements, including flights, hotels and car hire
Ensure the team working under you are performing according to the set guidelines
Holding meetings to motivate the team to meet their targets.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

Degree or diploma in tourism, tours and travel or its equivalent
Knowledge of international and local holiday packages
Knowledge of international and domestic tourism
Proven working experience of a minimum of 4 years a supervisory or managerial role
Proven working experience as a senior tour and travel consultant
Excellent written and communication skills, customer service as well as interpersonal skills
Understanding of air ticketing
Attention to details
Diploma or degree in either journalism and communication or public relations is an added advantage
