Tour Officer

Are you passionate about travel and creating unforgettable experiences? Our client is looking for a Tour Officer and sell and craft exceptional vacation packages while handling ticketing services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design innovative vacation packages tailored to client needs and preferences.
Promote and sell vacation packages to clients
Handle ticketing services, including booking flights, trains, and other modes of transport.
Collaborate with travel partners, hotels, airlines, and other vendors to secure the best deals for clients.
Provide detailed travel itineraries and ensure all logistics are effectively managed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, destinations, and pricing.
Offer professional advice and recommendations to clients regarding travel destinations, activities, and accommodations.
Ensure all travel bookings comply with company policies and industry standards.
Address client inquiries and resolve any travel-related issues promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

A degree or diploma in Tourism, Travel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
Proficiency in travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) is an added advantage.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A good understanding of popular destinations within Kenya and internationally.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in a similar role is in the Tourism industry.
