The Ticketing Officer is responsible for managing ticket sales, processing reservations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accurate and timely ticket issuance.
Responsibilities
Have experience in international and local travel arrangements.
processing of visa applications
preparing travel itineraies
prior experience collaborating with tours and travels agencies
knowledge of organizing trips; individual, groups, conferences, workshops etc
hotel booking for both individuals and groups
MUST have experience using Galileo systems
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in travel, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
Certification in ticketing and reservation systems (e.g. Galileo) is a MUST
Previous experience in ticketing, reservations, or customer service is preferred.
Experience in the travel or transportation industry is beneficial.
Proficiency in using computerized reservation and ticketing systems.
Basic knowledge of office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
