Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out routine maintenance required on plant;
Installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining existing and new equipment;
Following up and recommending action on recurrent faults;
Attending to mechanical faults and breakdowns in the Commission;
Analyzing and investigating re-current faults; and
Adhering to statutory regulations and Commission safety rules and regulations.

 Requirements for Appointment   
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
Proficiency in computer applications.
Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six (6) of the constitution.
