The purpose of this role is to assist and support MGA’s technical operations and technical departmental support requests which includes the support of ICT systems, technological infrastructure, software development testing and deployment, support ticketing, reporting and supporting MGA’s IT transformation projects from end-to-end.
Tasks
Operational Support Facilitation: Assist and support MGA’s users by managing the Helpdesk and resolving issues in a timely fashion creating a positive image on the Technical department and bolstering departmental coordination.
Departmental Operations: Monitor and assist with tagging assets, asset tracking, asset inventory, CCTV operability and footage review (when required), daily support checklist reviews, field support and preventive maintenance to ensure operations continue uninterrupted.
Baseline Infrastructure Security: Establish and maintain MGA’s safety by actively deploying security tools and monitoring the infrastructure to protect against internal and external threats.
Infrastructure Procurement: Support the Technical department with sourcing and acquiring essential hardware, software and services to optimize MGA’s internal services and operating efficiency.
Infrastructure Deployment and Optimizations: Conduct infrastructure deployments and maintenance to ensure business continuity for MGA by installing and optimizing hardware allowing smooth operations and minimal downtimes.
Requirements
Relevant diploma/degree in IT
1-2 year working experience
Demonstrated ability to assist in managing ICT projects with complex technologies.
Proven experience with technical environments and support.
Proven knowledge infrastructure management.
Active knowledge of helpdesk systems and processes.
Familiarity with technical support tickets and hardware preventive maintenance.
