Technical Support Engineer

Job Description 
Excellent problem detection, analysis and solving skills.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure with minimum supervision.
Excellent Customer Service skills including on-call support
Good hands on exposure on Mikrotik routers.
Configure and Manage Routers & Access Points.
Design and manage static & Dynamic IP network.
Monitoring and troubleshooting network issues with aid of various network monitoring tools e.g. cacti
Maintain network device configurations and firmware upgrades across multiple platforms.
Maintain security logs and conduct ongoing security risk assessments.
Develop network recovery procedures and troubleshoot network system and application problems.
Provide customers with technical advice and appropriate recommendations of issues established.
WiMAX equipment installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Provide routine maintenance and upgrade to network infrastructure.                                                
Desired Candidate Profile 
BSc Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or any other relevant degree
Minimum 2 Years of experience in the area of Networking
Strong Knowledge of Routing, Troubleshooting, Customer support
Strong knowledge of Access Points, Router and switch configurations.
Working experiences on WiMAX Technology.
Good Knowledge of Mail Systems – Mdaemon, Exchange etc. and domain service provision
Certifications like CCNA, Network + will be an added advantage.
