Technical Sales Representative

General Description:
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for matching our technical solutions to the needs of our customers, driving sales revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Technical Sales Representative will manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including negotiation and proposal development. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support, conducting market analysis, gathering
customer feedback, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Reports to: Pre Sales Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Identify potential customers, generate leads, and build relationships to drive sales growth.
Understanding Needs: Assess customer requirements and provide tailored technical advice and solutions.
Product Demonstration: Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase features, advantages, and benefits.
Sales Management: Manage the sales process from initial contact through to deal closure, including negotiation and contract development.
Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance and education to customers.
Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals and quotations based on customer needs and product offerings.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor products.
Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from customers to inform them of product improvements and enhancements.
Training and Documentation: Develop user guides and train customers on product usage and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and product development teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum Previous Experience:

3+ years of experience in technical sales or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Sales Representative or in a similar technical role.
Strong understanding of the company’s industry and product offerings.
Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and design effective solutions.
Proficiency in developing technical documentation and conducting training sessions.
