Our client a leading material handling and equipment company is seeking to hire a Technical Sales Manager (Security Equipment). The successful candidate will be responsible for handling sales of security equipment and solutions end to end and have business networks with consultants and Architects. The ideal candidate must have a Technical Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Making effective sales presentations to prospective clients.
Successful promotion of the Company’s interests, increase market shares and grow product sales.
Ensuring that targets are met within the budgeted profit margins.
Developing and implementing strategies on increasing revenues.
Protection, growth and development of the already existent client base.
Liaison and attendance of meetings with other company functions necessary to facilitate business development.
Liaison and negotiation with product manufacturers and thereafter making orders and requisitions.
Ensuring that inquiries and proposals materialize.
Qualifications
Technical Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering.
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven ability to handle technical aspect of tenders.
Market knowledge of engineering solutions, equipment specification, importation and sales.
Ability to travel.
