Technical Sales Manager

ROLE SUMMARY
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing all aspects of Agsol’s sales strategy. This includes generating new leads, managing partner and customer relationships, coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally, managing sales and customer experience staff, overseeing after-sales support, partner training, campaigns and promotions.
The position is based in Kikuyu, Nairobi, and will require travel within Kenya and the region. Your ultimate mission is to ensure Agsol’s machines deliver maximum benefits to our partners and customers.
Build and execute sales opportunities:

Drive B2B sales and build a pipeline of opportunities
Build and manage relationships with partners, distributors, and mill owners
Manage all sales enquiries
Provide after-sales support and technical troubleshooting support
Report on sales and KPIs
Improve CRM systems
Manage logistics of mills and other components to partners and customers in and outside Kenya
Support customer data collection and reporting
Capture and feedback customer experience insights internally
Support design and delivery of marketing materials and campaigns
Present at industry shows and exhibitions

Accelerate technical solutions growth:

Manage mill installations of solar and AC mills including managing field engineers and technicians
Provide technical and commercialisation training to partners, distributors, and mill owners

Accountabilities:

Support management of inbound international shipments and outbound trans-shipping within the region
Provide weekly updates on field trips, installations, and sales
Meet sales quotas and net promoter score targets
Function as the Project Manager for some funded projects, delivering on milestones against project schedules, and meeting reporting requirements
