Requirements:
Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or related A Master’s degree in a health-related field.
5 -8 years experience in successfully implementing successful activities in areas such as maternal, newborn and child health, reproductive health, care and treatment and health systems strengthening
Understanding of Kenya’s social and political context, and developments in the health sector
Previous experience working in Kenya, with a solid understanding of local health system and health systems strengthening, maternal and reproductive health care gaps and opportunities, and solid relationships with government agencies and other stakeholders
Demonstrated programming, management and technical skills
Experience in mixed-method research designs, data collection methods and IRB processes
Being certified to work in a Good Clinical Practices environment is an added advantage
Experience in resource mobilization
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
Software proficiency with the following software; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), EndNote or other citation Proficiency in quantitative or qualitative analysis software is an added advantage
Communication: Excellent written, verbal and visual communications skills required
