Technical Architect – End User Services

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design: Develop and sustain a strategic vision and roadmap for all end-user software and hardware, ensuring interoperability across diverse platforms (e.g., Email, Data, Identity, Devices). Create build materials and pricing for various solutions.
Business Development: Align end-user strategies with overarching business goals and offer guidance to IT and business leaders on projects requiring enterprise-wide solutions.
Technical Leadership: Act as the liaison between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Provide expertise in product management, system engineering, and the integration of end-user technologies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to define technology strategies and processes, translating them into technical requirements. Coordinate with Microsoft and Mimecast vendors on pricing and product roadmaps.
Implementation Oversight: Utilize extensive knowledge of business drivers and technology strategies to deliver clear, comprehensive data and product architectures.
Innovation and Improvement: Continuously assess and recommend new technologies and processes to enhance end-user services and stay current with emerging technologies.
Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation for solutions and provide training to end-users and IT staff.
Enterprise Architecture: Possess a strong understanding of EA frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman, with practical application experience.
Additional Duties: Perform other relevant tasks as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, M365, O365, Exchange, Exchange Online, SCCM, WSUS, Intune, Teams, Azure, Windows Server/Desktop, Hyper-V, and Remote Desktop Services.
Understanding of Microsoft Licensing.
Ability to grasp fundamental project and administrative processes.
Strong learning orientation and client service mindset.
Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Experience in technology strategies and enterprise solution design.
Knowledge of IT security and data governance best practices.
Expertise in developing and presenting engineering designs and roadmaps.
Experience with cloud service integration to optimize costs and service delivery.
Skilled in business and technical requirements analysis and data mapping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present information effectively to various audiences.
Thought leadership in end-user services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102), Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102); Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate/Expert, Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure ( AZ-800), Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services(AZ-801), Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200), Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), Microsoft Information Protection Administrator (SC-400).
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role within end-user computing.
At least 3 years of consulting or professional services experience in end-user services.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture.
