Moringa School is looking for a Tech & Data Project Lead who will be responsible for:
Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
Lead the execution of some elements of the Technology & Data roadmap.
Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.
Liaising with team members, management to ensure projects are completed to standard.
Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.
Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
Building playbooks with clear documentation and process flows.
Manage the Data Engineer, Business Analyst and Student Systems Administrator.
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
We expect the holder of this position to have the following qualifications and skills
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, 3 of which must be in a Senior Associate capacity
BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Negotiation skills
Creativity and problem solving skills – challenging the conventional wisdom
Sense of leadership and mentorship
Experience developing and deploying end to end software solutions for mid-sized to large teams.
Information Systems administration.
Customer centric mindset.
DevOps skills
Strategic thinking – ability to align projects and initiatives with business goals
Highly skilled in agile project management with a strong focus on stakeholder management.
Excellent communication skills
