Team Manager

The Team Manager will be responsible for the collections performance of the collectors against set.
Collections and productivity targets as well as quality standards, act as the point of escalation for queries and complaints. They will be responsible for ensuring understanding of the business and legislative requirements and will be responsible for full staff management and reporting.
Requirements

A minimum of 2 years recent experience in the position of a collections agent or call center  Team leader – previous exposure / experience in/to a Team Leader / management function in an external debt collections environment would be an advantage
Credit and criminal clear
Computer literate – minimum of intermediate level on Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows Explorer
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Strong financial skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to negotiate effectively
Target driven
Ability to listen actively and provide feedback
Able to manage conflict
A pro-active team player – works well in a team and contributes to the team success
Coach and mentor for direct reports for improved performance
Strong organization and planning skills.
Competent in MS Office at an intermediate level
