The Senior Associate will join the Tax Technology team and focus on the use of information technology and data analysis tools to provide professional tax technology solutions to help enterprises to manage tax risk and improve the level of tax compliance.
The role of the Senior Associate will entail that of a software developer, business analyst, software test analyst and ETL consultant implementation.
Software Developer and ERP reviews:
Lead the design and implement web applications both for internal and client facing applications
Lead the integration of back-end technologies and implementation of API endpoints
Take lead in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and tuning
Build reusable code and libraries for future use and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Lead the optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
Lead the review of ERPs
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Business Analyst:
Understand business needs and derive business requirements
Perform systems and/or proposal comparisons and evaluations
Lead the preparation of business requirements document, project plan, training materials, rollout plan, etc.
Effectively manage business requirements and change requests
Manage project tasks and timeline
Work closely with developers and test analysts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
Software Test Analyst:
Responsible for software quality control, including functional test, integration test, load test, etc.
Design test plan and test strategy, develop test cases, and prepare test data
Use testing tools and testing techniques to perform testing, record testing results, track and prioritise issues
Provide quality assurance to the reviewed applications
Create testing related documents including test plan, test cases, software testing reports, etc.
Work closely with other teams to improve software quality and system stability
ETL Consultant Implementation:
Take lead in the execution of Tax software implementation process for client engagements
Engage in system set up and configuration of Tax software
Collect customization requirement from client and confirm timely with BA
Handle and process data using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
Manage project stakeholders requirement and maintain satisfaction
Provide quality IT professional services to clients
Requirements:
To be considered for the above role, you need the following qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
A minimum of 4 years work experience in an IT related environment, two of which should have been in a supervisory role
Ability to connect business needs with innovative ideas to generate business solutions
Experience in ERP reviews
A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
Strong competencies in algorithms and software architecture
Confident with a strong sense of innovation, creative thinking and decision making
Flexibility and open-mindedness
Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language
A person of high integrity and demonstrated teamwork
