Tax Supervisor Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and providing guidance on complex tax matters.
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering their professional development.
Oversee the preparation and review of various tax returns (corporate tax, income tax, VAT, etc.) for clients.
Ensure timely filing of all tax returns with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Manage tax audits and liaise with KRA officials on client behalf.
Identify and mitigate potential tax risks for clients.
Stay up to date on Kenyan tax laws and regulations.
Analyze tax implications for client business decisions and transactions.
Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize client tax liabilities while adhering to regulations.
Identify opportunities for tax credits and deductions for clients.
Communicate effectively with clients on tax matters, explaining complex issues in clear and concise language.
Collaborate with other departments within RWK (accounting, finance, legal) to ensure a cohesive tax strategy for clients.

Qualifications:
Mandatory :

Professional accounting qualification: CPA(K)

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, law, or a related field.
Course from the Kenya School of Revenue Authority (KESRA).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tax, with some supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and tax application.
