About the role
We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and talent acquisition within the social impact sector. As an intern, you’ll dive into the exciting world of HR, recruitment and help us find exceptional talent to fuel our mission. This role isn’t just about sitting back and waiting—it’s about taking action and getting things done with a sense of urgency. Plus, you’ll play a key role in welcoming and supporting new team members as they embark on their Fresh Life journey.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and screening candidates for various positions within the organization, including field-based roles and office-based positions.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop job descriptions that attract top talent.
Post job openings on relevant platforms and channels, and actively engage in outreach to potential candidates.
Conduct initial phone screenings and schedule interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Support the coordination of interview logistics, including arranging interview schedules, preparing interview materials, and communicating with candidates and hiring teams.
Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) and assist with data entry and reporting as needed.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and strategies, providing insights and recommendations based on your observations and experiences.
Supporting new employee onboarding systems and processes
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Demonstrated proactivity and ability to take up leadership roles in forums that build our society outside the typical education system. E.g. AIESEC, Presidential Clubs, EMUN, Member Associations, etc.
Knowledge of job platforms and creative recruitment tactics is an advantage
Strong interest in talent acquisition, HR, or recruitment, with a desire to learn and grow in this field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
