Systems and Field Engineer

Engineering experience required:
Degree in electronics or systems engineering
Minimum 1-2 years experience in an software/systems engineering role
At ease with simple electronics & systems debugging
Software development skills, in particular embedded systems (C / Arduino)
Android/Web development skills a plus
Ability to support remote problem-shooting & investigate issues in a systematic way.
An enthusiasm and appreciation for test driven development
Understanding and experience working with physical I/O on Android devices (USB, Bluetooth, WiFi) and the kinds of issues that arise and need to be designed for.
General skills:
Ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
Excellent observational skills and a forward thinking / planning attitude
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Interest in the customer experience and user journey of products
Experience working in a SCRUM team setting across multiple locations
Interest in the customer experience and user journey of products
