Role and Responsibilities
The senior-level subject matter expert will
Support the design of data collection tools.
Conduct a desk review of programme documentation.
Conduct online key informant interviews, focus groups, and workshops with programme stakeholders.
Conduct field visits in one or several programme countries including key informant interviews, focus groups and workshops with programme stakeholders.
Analyze interview and focus group transcripts.
Contribute to reports and presentations to the client.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Master’s or PhD in agriculture, business development, development studies, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in supply chain development, especially in the context of developing countries, and/or evaluating and researching programmes and projects related to supply chain development.
Experience conducting qualitative data collection including key informant interviews, focus group discussions, or workshops.
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Professional proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
