Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Coordinator Job
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Coordinator is to manage inventory, manage supply sources, to purchase materials, services to support production and anticipated demand.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will develop sophisticated inventory management processes, protocols, and practices to ensure adequate redundancy to support growth and demand spikes; develop a supplier roster; introduce improvements and upgrades; and ensure alignment with scheduling and logistics.
Qualifications for the Supply Chain Coordinator Job
Previous experience purchasing – 2 years
Previous experience in a production/processing environment – 3 years
Understanding of food processing practices
Understanding of restaurant processes
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong hands-on knowledge of PC operating systems
Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
