Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in design & construction preferably in related industrial buildings with precast & long span roof trusses
Using MS Office applications and computer-aided design (CAD) technology for simulation purposes
Willingness to travel
Others: Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Presentation Skills.
Personal Attributes: Should be a mature person of not more than 30 years of age, self-driven, assertive, confident and objective.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Structural Engineer shall focus on the design and consulting on the installation of roof structures aimed at providing building solutions to customers. He will combine technical knowledge and sales skills for developing and maintaining sales strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for roofing designs and structural components, in coordination with sales staff to provide roofing solutions to customers.
Shall produce, interpret and analyze engineering drawings and designs in different software and guide in setting out.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Making estimates for consumer requirements.
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
Sells UBL products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
Supporting the marketing department by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
Providing training and producing support material for the project team and customers
Shall perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by his supervisors
