The Strategy & Innovation Fellow will play a key role in driving strategic and innovation projects to support the company’s growth and expansion. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, shaping the future of healthcare financing in emerging markets.
You will be responsible for leading and executing various strategic projects, which include but are not limited to:
Supporting the African expansion strategy by identifying opportunities and potential markets.
Identifying key AI opportunities, solutions, and partnerships for our platform.
Driving the development of innovative finance propositions.
Driving the development of new commercial propositions.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially minded professional with an interest in innovation, strategy, and market expansion.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS A STRATEGY & INNOVATION FELLOW:
Lead and execute strategic projects that align with CarePay’s growth objectives.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new opportunities.
Develop and test innovative healthcare financing and insurance solutions.
Engage with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and operations teams.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
Support the design and execution of new business models and partnerships.
Any other relevant strategic support as needed.
YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
At least 2 years of working experience in strategy consulting or a similar field.
University degree.
Background in Healthcare or Insurance/InsurTech is a plus.
Working experience in Kenya/East Africa is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL, experience with data visualization tools, and/or coding is a plus.
