This role focuses on building and managing key strategic partnerships that support the Finserve mobile money platform’s growth. This role’s primary responsibility is to establish long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that help expand the platform’s ecosystem, enhance its offerings, and create more value for both parties involved.
Job Responsibilities.
Identifying and forging strategic partnerships with key external entities
Negotiating terms and agreements with potential partners to expand the ecosystem (e.g. integrating payment solutions, co-marketing initiatives).
Managing relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration, and addressing any challenges.
Ensuring that partnerships align with Finserve’s strategic goals, such as expanding service offerings or accessing new customer bases.
Find and secure strategic partnerships with key external players.
Develop a clear partnership strategy that aligns with company goals.
Lead negotiations, draft partnership agreements, and manage contracts.
Work with partners to co-develop innovative products or services.
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities for new partnership opportunities.
Leverage partnerships to expand market presence and drive customer adoption.
Measure the success of partnerships using KPIs and report to senior management.
Represent the company at industry events and engage with external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage partnership risks.
Qualifications
Experience in product development or co-innovation, particularly in the financial technology space.
University Degree
MBA is an added advantage
7+ years’ experience
Ability to identify and build value-driven partnerships.
Expertise in managing long-term relationships and aligning external stakeholders with the company’s goals.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
Deep understanding of the mobile money ecosystem, payment systems, and digital finance.
Experience in product development or co-innovation, particularly in the financial technology space.
Knowledge of local and international regulations related to mobile money, financial services, and data protection.
