Social Media Strategist and Content Creator Consultant Creative Designer/Graphic Designer Consultant

Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies:

Craft innovative and data-driven social media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement across our Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn pages
Implement creative campaigns that highlight Jhpiego Kenya’s unique brand story 
Plan and execute social media campaigns and initiatives, including project launches, dissemination and closeouts 
Work with the Communications Manager to align blog posts with the organizations content calendar

Content Creation and Curation: 

Produce or oversee the creation of high-quality, shareable content, including photos, videos, stories, and live streams, that resonate with our target audience
Curate user-generated content to foster community engagement and highlight authentic guest experiences

Community Engagement and Trend-Based Content Creation:

Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Jhpiego Kenya remains at the forefront of the digital landscape 
Create and leverage trending content formats and themes to maximize reach and engagement across all social media platforms

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

Track and measure the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future strategy 
Collect and analyze data from various digital marketing channels to generate actionable insights 
Create regular reports on social media and partner performance 
Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field
5+ years of social media experience in a forward thinking, growing organization
Experience in healthcare, global health in non-profit or private sector capacity is a plus
Proven expertise in social media analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
Proficiency in a wide range of social media management and analytics tools
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Current in digital content and consumer trends and advancements in technology
