Social Media Associate duties and responsibilities
Analyzing the company’s social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Manage and oversee social media content
Measure the success of every social media campaign
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
Work with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
Present progress reports on a fortnight basis
Social Media Associate requirements and qualifications
At least 1 year of similar experience
Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media best practices
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics will be an added advantage
Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
Good understanding of social media KPIs
Familiarity with web design and publishing
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
