Our client, an American-based company is expanding globally by being one of the first movers to bring cryptocurrency to Africa and the Middle East at large. The mission is to make bitcoin/blockchain and other FinTech services more accessible, and affordable, than ever before. This dynamic company is looking to hire a Social Media Manager.

Requirements

Degree in Marketing or a relevant field
3+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager
Experience ideally within FinTech, Crypto, start-up environment
Hands-on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Naturally analytical with the ability to think commercially and strategically
A self-starting, enthusiastic problem solver
A global team player, able to work collectively as part of the marketing team, whilst having the confidence to work independently and deliver objectives and responsibilities
A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, making the complexity of a modern digital marketing function simple to understand

Responsibilities:

Manage a robust social & campaign calendar & social media strategy to align with business goals
Develop creative, clever & high-converting campaigns & social posts
Build the brand culture and cultivate the community
Engage in viral and influencer content across social media platforms
Manage & post across all social channels
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
Collaborate with other teams, to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
