As the social media executive, you are the first point of contact with the online community. You are in charge of the initial impression of Bio Food Products Limited with internal and external stakeholders. This is therefore an important role with an opportunity to make an impact by delivering exceptional digital engagement with our consumers and extending outstanding service in the digital space. This role calls for working closely with the marketing team to ensure excellent online delivery of content, campaign executions and worthwhile engagement.
In addition, visualizing, creating and editing graphics including illustrations, layouts, photos, logos, etc. The role shapes the visual aspects of Bio’s brand on, websites, books, magazines, exhibitions and more.
Key responsibilities include:
Social Media Engagement
Uploading content on different social media platforms i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
Curating content based on different platforms algorithm and goal.
Managing digital conversations from fans and consumers while engaging them.
Creating and relaying a relatable persona for all the social media platforms.
Sharing reports and analysis on a weekly basis, project completion, quarterly & biannually.
On the ground during shoots and teases content online
Remaining up to date with the social media management & listening tools
Flighting any positive and or negative critics online, as well as aware of any social media trends.
Cultivating and promoting social media growth.
Managing the social media content database.
Attending and participating on social media campaign Brainstorm Sessions.
Design
Studying design briefs and determine the requirements.
Scheduling projects and prioritize accordingly.
Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.
Preparing rough drafts and present ideas.
Developing illustrations and other designs using software or by hand.
Using appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
Working with relevant stakeholders to produce the final design as required.
Planning concept by studying information and materials.
Carrying out optional design layouts of art and copy regarding arrangements size, style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Obtaining approvals of concept by submitting rough layout for MD/ Marketing & Communication managers approvals.
Testing graphics across various media.
Amending designs following feedback from relevant stakeholders.
Ensuring the final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in line with brand guidelines.

Education and Experience Level
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Creative Writing, Design or another related field.
Excellent skills in use of creative software such as Hootsuite, Sprout social, Netbase, Canva etc.
Excellent skills in use of Adobe suite, final cut or any other design software
A rich portfolio of creative design work accomplished.
At least one year experience in a similar role.
Experience working in an FMCG is an added advantage.
