Site- in- Charge, DREAMS

Job purpose

The site in charge should provide overall leadership and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the DREAMS program at the implementation site. The Site-in-Charge should ensure that LVCT Health interests and programmes are represented in local and sub-county stakeholders meeting.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service delivery

 Coordinate the enrolment of AGYW into the program and implementation of the program targets
 Coordinate service provision to ensure that the enrolled AGYWs receive the primary services
 Plan, coordinate and support the provision of the DREAMS layered package of services segregated by age
 Ensure all AGYW who are HIV positive are linked to care and treatment
 Facilitate initiation and retention of AGYW PrEP to eligible AGYW in accordance with the national guidelines
 Facilitate the formation of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) and convene quarterly meetings or when need be
 Development of weekly and monthly work plan to facilitate the execution of DREAMS activities
 Develop monthly site budgets in line with the work plan and intervention costs
 Facilitate and ensure timely liquidations of cash disbursements and cash equivalences
 Coordinate the filling, checking, and timely submission of pay forms and other site financial obligations to finance
 Plan, communicate, and schedule leave for site staff
 Provide leadership in the management of all the organizational resources allocated in the site
 Collate and prepare monthly progress reports, share with supervisor and M&E officer for review
 Prepare and submit relevant sub-county and external reports to appropriate stakeholders
 Provide support in collation, analysis, and utilization of data for decision making
 Provide routine support supervision
 Take lead in coordinating and implementing continuous quality improvement activities
 Ensure documentation and sharing of program success stories
 Coordinate and supervise timely and accurate data collection and updating into the DREAMS database. This includes data cleanup and validation activities
 Ensure that service providers have all-round knowledge and skills to deliver the intervention by building their capacity through mentorship, on-job training, and delegation of tasks
 Take leadership in AGYW engagement initiatives
 Facilitate identification and engagement of public-private partnerships and stakeholders
 Develop abstracts, posters, and conference presentation
 Ensure documentation and sharing of program success stories
 Participate in sub-county meetings and activities that are in line with the program goals, working in liaison with your supervisor
 Communicate the organization’s strategic directions, vision, value, and policies to site staff on an ongoing basis

REQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Humanities and Social Sciences.
 4 years’ experience in DREAMS or OVC settings.
 Proven community mobilization skills, including engagement with schools’ local administrators.
 Familiar with and experience working with Government bodies, particularly MOE, MOH, NASCOP, NACC, and other relevant departments.
 Details-oriented and proficient in computer packages.
 Coordinating and people management skills; able to plan, set priorities, and follow up.
 Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
 Dedicated team player.
 Takes initiative and able to work without supervision in a dynamic multi-cultural environment.
