Key Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage the pricing strategy for micro-insurance products to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Work with the Business Development team to provide accurate pricing guidance and insights.
Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our pricing against industry standards.
Analyze market trends, claims data, and risk factors to inform pricing strategies.
Refine insurance product pricing models using actuarial and statistical methods working closely with the actuarial team.
Drive the design and development of new insurance products based on market demand while meeting regulatory requirements.
Monitor the performance of existing products and recommend adjustments to pricing or product features and benefits
Work closely with actuarial, finance, and compliance teams to align pricing strategies with company objectives.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to inform underwriting strategies and product development.
Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with the regulator, and other industry partners to negotiate terms, and enhance our value proposition.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications in these fields are a plus.
5+ years of experience in insurance pricing, product design, and/or underwriting. 8+ years in the Insurance industry,
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or statistical software.
Familiarity with insurance pricing models and actuarial principles.
Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets to support business decisions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Knowledge of regulatory considerations related to insurance pricing is a plus.
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative; demonstrate self-motivation and energy, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work as a team member with people across geographies and cultures.
