The Senior Technical Director will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of large-scale housing projects, with a focus on developments.This role requires extensive experience in housing initiatives, private sector collaborations, and technical project management. The incumbent will ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, oversee project quality, and drive cost-effective and sustainable housing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Management & Execution:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of housing projects, ensuring completion within budget and timelines.
Develop and implement strategic project plans in alignment with housing policies and development goals.
Oversee feasibility studies, risk assessments, and project evaluations to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
Ensure the integration of modern construction technologies and best practices in large-scale housing development.
Regulatory Compliance:
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, urban planning authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with housing policies.
Secure necessary approvals, permits, and regulatory clearances for housing projects.
Stay updated on housing programs, public-private partnership models, and infrastructure development policies.
Technical Oversight & Quality Assurance:
Provide expert guidance on construction methodologies, urban planning, and engineering solutions.
Ensure high-quality standards, safety regulations, and structural integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement sustainability-driven approaches, including affordable housing models, smart city integration, and green building initiatives.
Financial & Budgetary Management:
Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency.
Work closely with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders to secure funding and investment partnerships.
Monitor expenditure tracking, contract negotiations, and financial reporting to optimize project profitability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, financiers, and community representatives.
Address community concerns, ensuring inclusivity and adherence to social housing development strategies.
Requirements
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in large-scale housing project management, with a proven track record in developments.
Extensive experience working with housing projects, public-private partnerships, and infrastructure development.
Strong knowledge of real estate regulations, urban planning frameworks, and housing finance models.
Expertise in managing large budgets, contracts, and multi-stakeholder collaborations.
Proficiency in construction management software, engineering tools, and regulatory compliance systems.
Demonstrated leadership in managing high-performance project teams.
