Role Overview
The Senior Sales Executive is directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles and motorbikes as per targeted Volume, Gross Profit and Customer Satisfaction objectives.
Ensures that sales targets are met, generates leads and strong customer base, manages key accounts, creates high customer satisfaction levels and monitors competitors’ sales activities.
Supports and builds the capacity of the rest of sales executives team.
Roles And Responsibilities
Meet monthly set sales targets in terms of volume and margin delivery
Prepare sales progress and prospects reports daily using the sales tracker and relevant CRM systems (SalesForce)
Cultivates solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue and volume
Conducts vehicle and motorbike demos and test drives / rides, ensuring high customer engagement and relevant internal clearance reporting
Builds productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications and assists other Sales executives when needed.
Follows up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicle or motorbike after delivery within 5 days, makes check in calls as per recommended frequency
Makes follow ups on leads generated from BMW marketing activities, from websites or social media platforms, follows vigorously the company CRM process on leads management
Identifies promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals, constantly works on growing potential customer base
Ensures that all related sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly
Maintain accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, other relevant documentation and reports
Be a BMW brand ambassador, for brand and detailed product knowledge, keep up to date with all brand news and relevant group/s
Follows all Sales Department/dealer policies and procedures regarding inventory, keys, safety etc.
Ensure strict adherence to all BMW sales process by the team.
Pre-plans PDI with service team in good time and ensures all documentation is in order
Ensure strict adherence to BMW and Inchcape dress code standards
Knowledge Skills And Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in business management or administration, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
Certified Sales Professional accreditation or additional courses in sales related field are advantageous
Previous experience in Automotive or Premium goods industry is advantageous
Driving and riding experience relevant to sell the vehicles and the motorbikes
Proven track record of achieving set KPIs and /or personal objectives
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
