Senior Product Manager – Microsoft Search

Overview

Microsoft Search meets people wherever they are. From SharePoint to Microsoft Teams, from Office to Outlook, enabling the users to harness the collective knowledge of their organization so everyone can be more engaged and effective every day. We are the search UX team that powers Microsoft search across Microsoft products and services. Day to day our team work on long- and short-term priorities with partners across Microsoft in response to customer, partner needs, and emergent trends. Our goal is to enable more personalized and engaging experiences for users of Microsoft Search.  
Your role is to build end-user experiences in a product area, understand customer and user needs for your area, define the end-to-end user experience and customer journey, develop roadmaps, negotiate priorities, and work with internal and external partners to deliver innovative functionalities and features. This will require close interactions with partner teams as well as leading engineers, designers, and user researchers.

Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can: 

Apply experience as well as technical, functional, UX, and customer/partner knowledge to define the features of search product 
Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to define the problems and challenges, convert them into specification, prioritize the requirement and work, and deliver the work with quality and values on time 
Identify unaddressed issues and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality 
Define the design iteration process for the cross-team or cross-organization, and lead improvement over successive releases 

Qualifications

Experience in software product management with end user experience 
Experience with UX design, user research, and/or user-centred development tools and processes 
Ability to gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative insights and leverage those to inform, product decisions 
Ability to communicate complex subjects and info clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization 
Knowledge of and experience with AI is a plus 
Curiosity as a personal and professional trait  
Solution oriented mindset and pragmatism 
Fluency in English, both oral and written 
Compassionate and responsible team player that can deliver on agreed upon work while taking care of your team members
